Mum had to call off. Big disappointment!
She suffers intermittently from CWP (chronic widespread pain) and was advised to work out in the gym once a week or so to combat the lurgi. Apparently, she overdid it! My step-sister phoned last night from Arnos Grove with the upsetting news.
Not to worry, to get over the blow, Tish suggested a shopping trip to Montpellier.
It was Tish's turn to overdo it. Dazzled by her sleight of hand dealing a stacked pack of credit cards, and her whirlwind exits, I had a helluva job keeping up with her. At one point, I gave her my new boys' toy, a rather snazzy Fuji camera and asked her to take a snap of me next to the fountain in the place de la Comédie.
I think that's your's truly in the pink shirt!
There was one dent and severe scratching on the Land Rover. Why was that parking lot under the Comédie designed for these.
